Can you post at least twice a week? Yes
How long have you been rping? Five Years
How old are you? 19 (Yeah I messed up when I made my actual profile.)
Full Name: Mark Atallo
Nickname: None
Age: 30
Physical Description: Mark has spent a lot of time in the sun, his own
slight farmers tan. He stands at about 6'1 with dark brown, untidy hair that extends slightly passed his ears and make his blue eyes stand out coldly. It seems like Mark always has a five o'clock shadow. The stubble covers his hard looking cheeks, his chin and along his neck. He wears simple, practical clothing that includes what ever cheap t-shirts he can find, jeans, and boots or tennis shoes. He hates shopping for new stuff, so all his clothing looks old and shabby as he wears them until he needs to buy new stuff. Also he always carries on his person a green poncho and a small black umbrella.
Personality: When Mark was younger he was plenty social. Times though, have been hard on him. Now he doesn't seem to like almost any one. He doesn't smile very often and only likes to speak when he has to. People think he's either mean or just plain unhappy. He posses the ability to connect with some people, but as driven a man as he is, it seems as though he'd much rather focus on his work. Mark's sociality rating is a 6/10.
History: Mark came from a good home. His parents were always pretty supportive of pretty much everything he did in high school. It was easy to support him when he was in school because it seemed everything was easy to him. School was simple most of the time and it always seemed like he knew how things worked, like he could predict the cause and effect of things. He was even capable of sorting out most of his own emotions, a capability which lead him and his parents to lead a happy life. As an only child his parents were devoted to making sure he could make a life for himself, but when special interest groups started looking at him for his seemingly above average intelligence and intuition, his parents got frustrated.
The special interest groups invited him to tour an experimental school where special students learned to relate to deeper parts of their minds then any one ever before them. While his father thought it was a school for freaks, Mark was persistent in expressing a want to attend, and begrudgingling, his parents sent him there after he graduated High School. There he learned to use his own willpower in ways he never thought possible.
When he was about 20 years old he met a girl with whom he fell in love. They married that year, and a month later had kids. Marks parents were shocked at how fast the relationship developed, and while they were worried he made the wrong decisions, they supported him never the less, trusting him to be intelligent about pretty much everything he did. Mark moved on to graduate top of his class two years later, even after having a kid.
He got a job working as a civilian for the military. He and his family lived in a small town outside of a military base. For five years they got used to an easy life of him working and his wife staying home to raise the kid. Everything was going great until it was discovered that his kid some how had received the genome from which the little known mutant kind received their alterations. With out even developing any abnormal characteristics, Mark's wife and child were killed in a riot that was quelled before he could get home from work.
For five years after that, tried hard to find a way either to get justice for the people he lost, or to make things better for himself. Devastated, he devoted himself to finding a way to bring his love back, and even sought out ways, through the dark arts, to bring his loved ones back to him. He participated in dark rituals and ceremonies that could only bring the memories of hate back to haunt him. All the negative energy drove him to drink so much that he lost much of the connection with his own mind.
Now he's half the man he was, but he works to remedy all the negativity in the world. He moved and got a job working for the Brenton County School District as a hall monitor. Today he searches for other mutant kids like his son, so that he might be able to help protect them and teach them about their own differences. He's found none as of yet.
Occupation: Mark works as a Hall Monitor for Brenton High. His job consists of making sure the students aren't breaking rules, escorting troublemakers to the proper disciplinary institutions, delivering messages, directing the school buses to where they should wait for students, and doing some maintenance work. He makes an average amount of income.
Character Level: Leader
Character Class: Psycho-Extreme
Sub-class: Witchcraft
Class Description: Mark's main power class is that of the psycho-extreme. In college, he went to school to learn to develop his talent with his own mind. Then he could read thoughts, use telepathy and telekinesis, manipulate people's thoughts and actions, and actually generate psychokinetic energy.
Today though, after five years of running from his former employers and drinking heavily, he is truly detached from his own mind. Now it seems that he can only really read people's emotions. He can tell when they're sad or angry. He has a stumbling strength with telekinesis, and can also influence peoples thoughts and actions with his own nerves. He uses this to put off or intimidate annoying students. Finally he can generate enough psychic energy to make thin walls of force that, for as long as he's used them, have not been broken.
In the five years after his family's death he learned a lot about witchcraft. Back then he'd participate in all sorts of dark ceremony's, but today he only knows enough magic to protect his home and to find the things and people he needs in the world. It is his use of magic that lead him to Brenton.
Skill Class: Mark is good at research.
Weapons/Tools: The campus at the school he works at is pretty big, so, like several other hall monitors, he uses a bike to get around fast.
Pets/Familiars: None
Likes/Dislikes: Mark enjoys working hard, sleeping, animals, making music, and bourbon.
He dislikes secret agendas, shaving, coffee, day time television, and the president.
